I am trying to use these books to improve my game, but I am having some trouble with it. The workbook seems worth while, though I haven't invested in it yet. (European distribution: New in Chess). Hey everyone, I recently picked up How To Reassess your Chess as well as the How To Reassess your Chess workbook, both by Jeremy Silman. As I mentioned in a previous post, Silman is releasing a fourth edition of How to Reassess your Chess, which he says will be a major overhaul and improvement to the third edition. Does anyone have a pgn of the games in Silman's "How to Reassess Your Chess" fourth edition? This chunky volume has nearly 650 pages filled with great information on how to play positional chess. I have also finished the section on knights and bishops in Silman's Reassess Your Chess 4th edition, and I am currently working on the chapter dealing with the interaction of knights and bishops. I have trouble The first edition of How to Reasses Your Chess (which was less than 200 pages) changed my entire outlook on the game.
